The Fool - Buffalo Theory

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The inspiration for this digital tarot card came from a character in an old TV series "Cheers" In it Cliff Clavin played a postman who during one episode, told his pal, Norm, about "the Buffalo Theory." It goes like this: "Well you see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo and when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.
In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive drinking of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

The middle view of the top 3 is for a Round Robin Exchange with a talented group of artists lead by Debby Harrietha. We've been working on a year long project entitled "Alphabetica." Below is the digital version of this particular page.

Cabinet of Curiousity

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a cabinet I just began working on. I plan to create a visual 'story' of sorts, similar to Byrons' Magical Mystery Tour and fill the shelves with artful objects.

"Geta" Collage Box

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've had a 'thing' about boxes for as long as I can remember. I love them and have far too many. This week I indulged and decided to collage the below box. I think I found my niche! The feet for the box are meant to reflect the Asian "Geta" wooden sandals. I still have some things I want to add, but it's essentially finished. Back View
